Keep the full model name through checkout
Record the brand, range and every suffix, plus the manufacturer’s reference where available. Abbreviated names are convenient in conversation but risky when comparing offers. Dropping a suffix can group products with different specifications.
Continue checking in the basket. A variant selector may change the model, colour or bundle without making the page look very different. Read the final summary. If you switch variants for a deal, recheck the features that matter.
Separate the appliance, market version and bundle
First identify the exact hardware. Then check the country version, documents and commercial conditions, including a suitable Canadian plug and warranty. Finally check the bundle: extra roller, filter, solution or attachment. Bundle changes may leave the appliance unchanged while affecting initial cost and convenience.
A bundle name is not a technical feature. A separately sold compatible accessory is not included unless the offer says so. Compare offers only when all three levels are clear, or when you have explicitly accepted the differences.
Understand the different identifiers
Model number, manufacturer reference, EAN and a retailer’s listing ID serve different purposes. An identifier helps find an offer but does not replace checking its contents. Titles and grouped listings can change; record the link and check date.
If identifiers are missing, ask for them or keep the uncertainty visible. Leaving a purchase link inactive is preferable to matching a similar title automatically. Homavise keeps variants separate where equivalence has not been established.
Two examples worth remembering
FLOOR ONE STRETCH S6 and SWITCH S6 STRETCH are different names. Shared words do not transfer attachments or capabilities from one to the other. The Homavise pilot specification concerns FLOOR ONE STRETCH S6 specifically.
The French Roborock page describes F25 XT as a cosmetic evolution of F25 ACE, while its address retains ACE and ALT. This shows why a URL alone cannot identify the product. An XT specification must not automatically redirect to ACE without a clear, checked choice.
Compare what arrives and what you must buy later
List the appliance and each accessory as included, sold separately or awaiting confirmation. For a more expensive bundle, decide whether the extras are useful. More accessories do not automatically make an offer better, especially where future compatibility is unclear.
An included spare roller does not prove a replacement will be available next year. Keep exact references and distinguish today’s stock from a future availability guarantee, as explained in our consumables guide.
Make one final offer check
Before leaving the comparison, confirm that the specification, retailer link and basket describe the same model. Check seller, product condition and delivery country too. An uncertainty that could change the decision should remain visible alongside any promotional badge.
- Match the full name and suffixes.
- Check the exact identifier where provided.
- Confirm bundle contents and attachments.
- Check Canadian version, plug and delivery destination.
- Distinguish new from refurbished products.
- Repeat essential checks after switching variants.
Practical answers
Frequently asked questions
Are two products with the same photograph identical?
Not necessarily. Check the full name, reference and bundle: range photographs can be shared.
Does an ACE URL necessarily mean F25 ACE?
No. The French Roborock page checked contains ACE in its address but presents F25 XT. Check the visible product and offer.
Is an accessory bundle a new generation?
Not necessarily. It may simply add consumables. Compare hardware and bundle separately.
Why is an offer sometimes inactive on Homavise?
The product reference or authorization may still need confirmation. An explained absence is more useful than a link to a similar but unverified model.
Should I compare product condition too?
Yes. New and refurbished offers must not be presented as equivalent without identifying their condition and terms.
