Comparison tool and running-cost calculator
Calculator inputs remain in page memory. Calculations run in your browser; the values are not sent to Homavise and are cleared when you reload.
Copying a comparison creates a link containing model identifiers in the modeles query parameter. This restores the selection on opening or reloading. The address may appear in browser history and technical hosting logs. It contains selected model IDs, not your name, email or calculator values.
The site embeds no behavioural adverts or retailer pixels. Fonts and images are served by the site. Optional visit and affiliate-click analytics follow the choice described below. Contact reveal buttons display details in your browser without sending us a measurement request.
My home and the chooser
Chooser answers are processed in your browser. Saving a selection or model, or marking an appliance as owned, stores criteria, product IDs and checklist ticks locally under homavise-home-v1-en. This is requested storage without an account or email, expiring one year after the last save. Other users of the same browser can see it. Delete everything from My home. If storage is blocked, saving lasts only in the open page.
Sharing criteria creates a link whose fragment contains the need, floor type, priority and any entered clearance. Anyone with the link can read these details. The fragment is not sent in the HTTP request, but may remain in browser history or the sharing service. Recommendations are recalculated from the catalogue available when opened.
Maintenance reminders are calendar files downloaded at your request. Homavise does not access your calendar or email reminders. You choose the date, import the file and configure notifications in your calendar app. Deleting My home does not remove an imported reminder.
With analytics consent, chooser start, progression, result, save and link-copy steps are counted. These events contain neither answers, clearance measurements nor local-storage contents. Alone they cannot establish individual 30-day retention.
Optional visit and click analytics
With consent, Homavise uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and affiliate-link clicks. This helps understand useful content, retailer-link placement and communication campaigns. Consent is the basis for this optional analysis. Groupe Serenite is the controller and Vercel supplies measurement; dashboard statistics are private to the publisher and are not a list of individual purchases.
Analytics does not load before acceptance. Refusing does not restrict site or Amazon-link access. Change or withdraw the choice through “Analytics preferences” in the footer. The English preference is stored for 180 days in localStorage under homavise-measurement-en-v1, separately from other sections and without a visitor ID added by Homavise. If storage is unavailable, the choice lasts in the open page. Withdrawal stops later events and applies to other open English pages in the same browser.
Click events contain product code, button location and editorial market GB; market does not indicate the visitor’s residence. The event name identifies the affiliate network. Measured addresses are reduced to canonical URLs without queries or fragments. For Black Friday campaign arrivals, only authorised public market, channel and content-code labels are accepted. Unknown values are discarded; campaign attribution is not retained between pages. Calculator inputs, names, emails and phone numbers are not added.
Vercel may process technical information such as time, referrer, device, browser and connection-derived location. Its documentation describes request-fingerprint identification limited to 24 hours, without third-party cookies, and aggregated reporting. No cookies does not mean no processing. Our Vercel plan’s reporting window is 12 months; this is not a guarantee that every provider technical record is deleted then.
Vercel is a US provider; processing may involve international transfers under applicable contractual safeguards. See its privacy notice, data-processing agreement and Web Analytics documentation linked below.
Measured clicks do not establish purchases. Affiliate networks report orders and commissions under their own rules. Homavise does not link them to an individual visitor identifier. Refusals, browser blocking and network failures make statistics incomplete.
Hosting and access
The public site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Delivery and security require technical processing, including request logs that may contain IP address, request, time and browser information. This is separate from optional analytics and based on the legitimate interest in providing and protecting the site.
Vercel’s details appear in the legal notice. Its privacy notice describes technical processing. Homavise does not promise an unverified provider retention period.
External links and correspondence
Following a manufacturer or shop link takes you away from Homavise. The destination applies its own terms and privacy rules, including purchase attribution. Viewing our pages does not load retailer widgets or videos. Affiliate links contain a Homavise commercial identifier, not your name or email, and are disclosed near the button.
Messages sent to the email revealed by the contact button are forwarded to the publisher’s inbox for handling. They may contain email address, name and correspondence. Do not send health data, bank details or passwords to report a specification error. Cloudflare routes messages to the publisher’s Apple inbox; access is limited to the publisher and providers needed for the service.
Your requests
Groupe Serenite, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France, controls received correspondence. For data or notice enquiries, use the email revealed by the contact button and include the information needed to respond.
You may request access, correction or deletion, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability under the relevant conditions. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) or the French CNIL.
If new services are added, we will update this notice and implement necessary consent controls before activation. Visit-analytics consent does not subscribe you to newsletters or price alerts.
Correspondence: purpose, providers and retention
We use correspondence to respond, correct information or handle data requests, based on the legitimate interest in dealing with messages or applicable obligations. It is retained as needed for handling and any disputes or obligations, not used for a newsletter without a separate choice.
The publisher consults affiliate programme reports for commissions. It does not add individual visitor identifiers to links or connect contact requests with purchases.
Vercel, Cloudflare and Apple may process data outside the UK or European Economic Area under their agreements and applicable safeguards. Provider notices describe technical processing. Log retention depends on the service and is not presented here as a deletion deadline verified by Homavise.
